Market Collective is an independent market, existing to promote local arts and culture, and to engage and empower their community towards positive growth. Since the beginning, they’ve stayed true to their passion – community building through the arts.
Challenge
Market Collective takes place in the Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre, where there is no infrastructure in place to divert waste from the landfill.
Towards Zero Waste
We worked with Market Collective to provide our waste reduction equipment and an on site staff member to supervise and service the bins, as well as educate shoppers on what items go where.
